About me:

Motive is a band from the Central Coast with alot of clashing styles of rock. They have an interesting mix of metal, pop, grunge and rock.
Julian (vocals) is from Seatle WA. He brings a pop/hip-hop style laced with grunge and hard rock. He has been singing his entire life and is largely influenced by Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails and even many hip-hop acts such as Flobots.
Rick (guitar), born and raised in Santa Maria, has been playing for 8 years. At a young age he discovered hard rock and never looked back. His biggest influences include Godsmack, Pantera, Motley Crue, Alice in Chains, Drowning Pool, and Hatebreed.
Jordan (bass) was born in North Hollywood. His influences include Dead Milkman, Bad Brains, The Minutemen, Rage Against the Machine, and Jaco Pastiours.
Jacob (drums) grew up in Texas where he started making music at the age of 10. His influences include Led Zeppelin, Pretty Lights, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Franz Liszt and Chiodos.
With all the musicians coming from different backgrounds, Motive has created an original style of groovy, heavy rock that is well accepted in the LA rock scene.

My definition of "Freedom" is:

Freedom is when you have the right and option to fight for your country, work a good job, anywhere you want, own a house anywhere you want, Free to do what makes you happy while staying within the laws of the land.
