- About me:
- I served 12 yrs in the Navy followed by 8 yrs in the Army.
I am an advocate for the Homeless Vets and currently working with the local VA Facility and NAMI as a Peer to Peer and Support Group Facilitator. I believe it is all of our duty to ensure our men and women of the military come ALL THE WAY HOME. We need to continue to work with the Dept of the VA to assist in getting the earned benefits in a timely manner. We need to work with the community to establish positive Recovery programs to help our Vets transition back to civilian life. Working together each organization and individual can make a difference in obtaining these goals.
- My definition of "Freedom" is:
- I believe the Founding Father showed us the way and meaning of Freedom. It is now our responsibility to get the government back to the Constitutional Freedoms that are guaranteed t each citizen.

Maine Homeless Veterans Stand Down
The VA Maine Healthcare System is proud to announce the 14TH Annual Maine Homeless Veterans Stand Down, which will be held on Saturday October 29, 2011 from 9:00a.m.– 4:00p.m. at the Togus VA Medical Center campus in Augusta. All Maine homeless Veterans are welcome and invited to participate. 14th Annual STAND DOWN
I want to thank you all for the quick adds and also for the work/support you are doing for our military men and woman. It is a busy time this week preparing for our 14th annual Stand Down this Saturday. I will be here to assist in whatever manner I am able to.
