About me:
Canobliss is an independent San Diego, CA based modern alternative metal band that breaks boundaries. "One of the most unique independent metal bands making music today." - Derric Miller (HardRockHaven.net). Consisting of four diverse members with varying experiences, backgrounds, and influences; the result is a group that has been declared "one of the best bands to come out of the US in the past few years." - Steve Green (Live4Metal.com).

With their lineup solidified in the summer of 2006, the band went on a writing binge; cranking out three albums (Liberation of Dissonance - 2007, Psychothermia - 2008, and now Man Is The Enemy - 2010). Canobliss is proud to have completely self-produced these albums from start to finish including all writing, tracking, & mixing in their home studio. The power of L.O.D. and Psychothermia has been proven with song placements in extreme sports DVDs, hitting number 1 at multiple college radio stations across the country, along with a San Diego Music Awards nomination. Canobliss has spread their sound by touring across the US, selling thousands of albums, handing out countless demos and stickers, developing a strong online presence, and creating a full line of merchandise.

Canobliss is now looking forward to taking the world by storm with their new release Man Is The Enemy. The album is 11 slamming tracks reflecting the struggles that the band, our country, and our planet have faced over the past couple years. This has once again been a completely independent project for the band… no producers, managers, or record execs in sight! Guitarist Samson parted ways with the band for personal reasons in June but that hasn't slowed them down one bit. The word is already spreading with a nomination at the 2010 San Diego Music Awards, a cross-country tour (the band’s biggest ever!) in Sept/Oct 2010, and a slot on the San Diego stop of Rockstar's UPROAR Festival w/ Disturbed, A7X, Stone Sour, Hell Yeah & more!
