- About me:
- I am a Teacher at a Charter High School in San Diego, CA. I specialize in English, Readning, Test Preparation, and Curriculum Develpoment. I also serve as the Community Service Cordinator for the school. In addition to teaching, I am the founder of Hand-to-Heart . . . a nonprofit organization created after 911 to teach children how to serve those who protect and serve us on a daily basis. As of January 2011, we are expanding Hand-to-Heart by adding another component: mentoring at-risk youth by connecting them with professionals in their chosen career field and providing them with opportunities to give back by serving the community.
